The Miss Kerala beauty contest is conducted in Kerala. In Miss Kerala beauty contest, the contestants will be from Kerala, one of the southern state of India. Kerala is a land known for its natural beauty, and the ladies is also so. The Miss Kerala is conducted by the Miss Kerala Foundation which was founded in 1999. The first Miss Kerala beauty contest was held in the year of 1999 itself.

Miss Kerala Foundation is saying to have donating a major part of their income for charitable deeds, mainly focusing on child related purpose.

Misskerala 2010 was held on 5th August 2010. Kochi will host 2010 Miss kerala contest. Registration for miss kerala 2010 was compelted only around July 2010. There was a peculiarity for this miss kerala 2010 contest. It was, the miss kerala 2010 was the 10th miss kerala contest . Eventhough miss kerala beauty contests were started by early 1999, miss kerala 2004 and miss kerala 2006 was not conducted. It makes miss kerala 2010 as the 10th miss kerala beauty contest.

Hair O Max Miss Kerala 2010 winner is officially announced. Miss Indu Thampi is selected as Miss Kerala 2010 Winner among the 22 miss kerala 2010 contestants. Indu Thampi had completed B.A. degree from AllSaints College Trivandrum. Miss Indu Thampi has joined for her post graduation in the same college. Her father is a business man. Indu's Sister Miss Rashmi had also participated in the miss kerala 2010 beauty contest.

As part of the miss kerala 2010 contest, Miss Indu Thampi was at ernakulam for a few more days for the save a girl child campaign.

The first runners up of Hair O Max Miss Kerala 2010 is Miss Manju Raj. Miss Sonal Devraj was selected as the second runner up of miss kerala 2010 beauty contest.
